First ILO Academy on Green Jobs Promotion in Egypt 2017
The ILO's project "Decent Jobs for Young Egyptian People", funded by Canada, held an Academy for Green Jobs Promotion for the first time in Egypt. It took place in Egypt’s second biggest city Alexandria. It was organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation in partnership with the ILO/International Training Center and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
Participants of the Academy came from different countries and were a mix of decision makers, academia, practitioners, students and other groups who benefited from the expertise provided by the Academy. During the five-day event, international, regional and national knowledge, information, experience and skills were shared.
