As Economies Recover What About Jobs in the Developing World? An Interview with Theodoor Sparreboom
In its annual employment trends survey the ILO reports that the world's working poor grew by 40 million because of the economic crisis. At the same time several economies in the developing world have seen their unemployment rates fall below pre-crisis levels. With signs of economic recovery, ILO TV interviews ILO economist Theodoor Sparreboom on the outlook for labour markets across the developing world in 2011.
