Informal Employment and Precarious Work
In large parts of the world the major economic activity takes place in the informal sector, in some African countries up to 80%. In those countries, work has been precarious ever since. However, studies show how to formalize working relations such as seasonal work and give examples of successful measures for more protection for workers.
