Programme and Budget for 2024–25: Position of accounts as at 31 December 2024

This paper provides information on the position of 2024–25 income and expenditure as of 31 December 2024. For the 12-month period ending 31 December 2024, contributions received were US$450,118,193 and expenditures recorded were US$409,654,586. In accordance with article 21.2(a) of the Financial Regulations, arrears of contributions received in 2024 were used to reimburse the Working Capital Fund to cover the 2022–23 deficit of CHF572,598 (US$629,229). The excess of income received over expenditure as at 31 December 2024 is US$39,834,378 at the budget rate of exchange of CHF0.91 to the US dollar.
