Follow-up to the resolution concerning decent work and the care economy

This document proposes a plan of action on decent work and the care economy for the period 2024–30 to give effect to the resolution concerning decent work and the care economy adopted by the International Labour Conference at its 112th Session in June 2024. The Governing Body is invited to provide guidance on the proposed plan of action and on the holding of a tripartite meeting on paternity and parental protection, and other care leave, in the first quarter of 2026, and requests the Director-General to consider its guidance in implementing the plan of action (see the draft decision in paragraph 36).
