Final Report HDPN Workshop Amman

This report outlines the main recommendations and next steps to promote decent work principles across the HDPN based on the discussion and principles of engagement presented at the workshop on “Decent Work across the HDP Nexus in Arab States” co-organized by the ILO and the Nexus Academy, with support from Sweden (Sida), and held in Amman from September 9th to 12th, 2024. The discussions were centered on the Nexus pillars: coordination, programming, risk management, financing, and thoughtful leadership – accountability, along with specific country-level actions and actor-based follow-ups. The workshop also represents the second deliverable of the Issue-Based Coalition (IBC) on the HDP Nexus, Recovery, and Reconstruction, namely “holding an inter-agency session/workshop to capture effective approaches to Recovery efforts”.
