Look at me: ILO training opens doors for young people in Thailand to pursue careers
With his hair dyed orange, Thanakorn Suddai said he wanted to become a barber. As a person with a hearing disability, Suddai learned to cut hair thanks to the ILO-supported hairdressing training, which used visual demonstrations and sign language as primary teaching methods. This, Suddai said, allowed him to learn and opened doors for his entrepreneurial career.
