The project, officially launched with the signing ceremony, will be implemented at Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Bursa province. It seeks to strengthen girls’ technical skills, support their transition into working life, and enhance their employability in the industrial sector.

Through a programme combining training, mentoring and awareness-raising activities, the initiative aims to promote equal and inclusive working environments and contribute to greater female participation in technical and industrial occupations.

Commenting on the partnership, ILO Türkiye Director Yasser Hassan said:

“This partnership demonstrates how enterprises can create real and lasting change. While supporting the empowerment of young women, it also lays a strong foundation for more equal workplaces. Advancing gender equality is not only a matter of rights; it is also a vital investment in productivity, innovation and competitiveness.”
