A group of 24 Ethiopian professional trainers in starting and improving businesses sharpen their skills in small and medium enterprises coaching under ILO support in Ethiopia

A selected group of ILO Certified Master Trainers from Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania took these Ethiopian Trainers through a one-week refresher course to review their level of practical knowledge, training skills, and ability to adapt the content delivery to the needs of agri-business Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The 24 Trainers are part of existing group of business development service providers from government, NGOs, and individuals who received the basic training towards certification under ILO projects. Therefore, the ProAgro Ethiopia project not only supports their journey to full certification, but also sharpening their focus on the specific needs of agri-businesses. The goal of this refresher training is to build a network of Certified Trainers of SIYBs in Ethiopia with closer ILO expert guidance and regular coaching. These trainers will offer variety of training to more than 1000 small and micro-enterprises in agri-businesses to be supported under ProAgro Ethiopia project in 2024.
