Advancing local policies to eliminate Child Labour in Uganda

The ILO CAPSA (Capacity Strengthening of Governments to Address Child Labour and Forced Labour and Violations of Acceptable Conditions of Work in Sub-Saharan Africa) together with authorities in Hoima city in Uganda creates bylaws in child labour hotspots and training local leaders on child protection. The video highlights Hoima’s partnerships with rice, tea, maize, and sugar industries to promote safe, child-friendly workplaces.
