Canada is a key partner of the ILO in advancing decent work and promoting worldwide.
The ILO works closely with Global Affairs Canada, the Employment and Social Development Canada and the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada on the promotion of fundamental principles and rights at work, skills and enterprise development and of fair recruitment of migrant workers. Canada also supports the improvement of industrial relations, occupational safety and health at work and labour inspection.
