Youth Rights @ Work: a facilitator’s guide by and for Indonesian trade unions
The guide is part of an initiative that reaches out to youth in the formal and informal economy, to increase awareness of their rights, to empower them to join a labour union and to encourage them to take a stand for their rights.
Activities in this guide are designed to target youth between 15 and 29 years who will enter or have just entered the labour market. No specific knowledge is required to read this guide, apart from basic literacy and numeracy skills.
The overarching goal of this guide is to enhance the knowledge, understanding and ability of young workers to defend their rights at their workplace.
