Working children in Indonesia 2009

The 2009 Indonesia Child Labour Survey (ICLS) was a sub-sample of and integrated in the 2009 National Labour Force Survey, or Sakernas.

One of the major findings of the ICLS was: Out of the total number of children aged 5-17, about 58.8 million, 4.05 million or 6.9 percent were considered as working children. Out of the total working children, 1.76 million or 43.3 percent were child labour.
