National Child Labour Survey

Working children in Azerbaijan: The analysis of the National Child Labour Survey (NCLS) and the Labouring Children Survey (LCS) of 2005

The aim of this report is to analyze the incidence and nature of child labor in Azerbaijan as well as its determinants and its consequences on child well-being with regard to schooling and health. The data used in this study come from the Child Labour Survey (CLS) conducted in March 2005 as a module of the 2005 Labour Force Survey (LFS); and the Labouring Children Survey (LCS) conducted in November 2005 as a continuation of the CLS. Both surveys have been conducted by the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan (SSC) in cooperation with ILO-IPEC.
