Where are employers’ organizations on their journey toward digitalization? A look at Panama

This technical note is part of the collection of notable experiences in the digitisation of business enterprises and employers' organizations (EBMOs) in Latin America, identified in the research process carried out by the ILO Bureau for Employers' Activities (ACT/EMP) for the preparation of the 2022 Regional Report "Where are business organizations on the journey towards digitisation, A look at Latin America". The National Council of Private Enterprise (CONEP) of Panama is the country’s peak employers’ organization. With the aim of strengthening good business practices and having more rigorous information when advising its members, CONEP has developed several self‑assessment tools in the areas of occupational safety and health, gender parity, and labor issues.
