Digitalization of an employers and business membership organization

Where Are employers’ organizations on their journey toward digitalization? A look at Ecuador

This technical note is part of the collection of notable experiences in the digitisation of business enterprises and employers' organizations (EBMOs) in Latin America, identified in the research process carried out by the ILO Bureau for Employers' Activities (ACT/EMP) for the preparation of the 2022 Regional Report "Where are business organizations on the journey towards digitisation, A look at Latin America". The Guayaquil Chamber of Industries (CIG) has a long trajectory, standing out for its ability to convene diverse actors to collaborate on projects with impact at both the city and national levels. One of these projects is the Digital Challenge, which it launched together with the Alliance for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (AEI).
