Dangers and risks faced by children engaged in the drug trade go beyond the physical, psychological and mental disorders prevalent among drug-addicted children. Children in the drug trade/trafficking are exposed and initiated to the world of illegal activities and criminality.

The report highlights some effective intervention models and practices developed in the three countries. The first part focuses on school-based and community-based anti-drug programmes developed in Thailand while the second part describes street-based models in Jakarta. The section concludes with the community-based models pilot=tested the the cities in Metro Manila.
