Tripartite validation of the Bangladesh Decent Work Country Profile

A tripartite validation workshop for the Bangladesh Decent Work Country Profile organized by the ILO Country Office for Bangladesh was held on 25-26 September 2012. The workshop was prepared in line with the ILO Declaration on Social Justice for a Fair Globalization (2008), which recommends the establishment of appropriate indicators or statistics to monitor the progress made in the implementation of the ILO Decent Work Agenda. The main purpose of the workshop was to give key stakeholders, particularly the ILO tripartite constituents, an opportunity to review and “validate” the draft of Decent Work Country Profile for Bangladesh.
