Study on fruit and vegetable industry and responsible business conducts and corporate social responsibility toward social and economic upgrading: The Cavendish banana industry in Davao Region
The study documented the responsible business conducts (RBCs) of selected enterprises in the Cavendish banana industry in Davao Region adapting the supply chain analysis as the conceptual framework.
At the industry level, a new form of tripartite arrangement was developed, called Tripartite Plus. Key players were expanded to include Agrarian Reform Cooperatives (ARCs), banana companies (MNEs, small-medium to large enterprises), social development enterprises and other not for profit organizations.
