Social justice is linked to workplace productivity. It is a two-way relationship and one of the principal mediating factors is social dialogue. The authors pay particular attention to women and older workers, investigating how national-level policy frameworks and enterprise-level human resource management practices can help to ensure that workers from these two vulnerable groups are treated equitably and are able to continue contributing to productivity growth.
