Skills development in the workplace: Report of the ILO/SKILLS-AP/Japan Regional Workshop and Study Programme on Skills Development in the Workplace, OVTA, Chiba, Japan, 27 January - 6 February 2009

This is a report of a tripartite regional workshop and study programme covering a wide range of issues relating to learning within the workplace.

The aim of the workshop was to increase awareness of the importance of workplace learning to learn from the ways that workplace learning is implemented in various countries. The workshop consisted of a number of technical sessions, panel discussions, working groups and site visits to four Japanese companies.
