The situation of people with disability in Indonesia: a desk review
This desk review is intended to give a snapshot of the general condition of people with disability in Indonesia. It illustrates the characteristics and the size of the population; government policies and programs; and the legal framework that is relevant to disability issues. It also analyses the participation of people with disability in various sectors, such as education, politics and culture.

The review could be used as a foundation to develop inclusive policies, particularly for people with disability, so that they have the same opportunity before the law to enjoy their social, economic, political and cultural rights.
