Selecting sectors for rural employment promotion in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic

This report serves as a sector selection study for the ILO Rural Employment Promotion Programme (REP) in Lao People’s Democratic Republic, a project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The project will support skills development, strengthen market integration for rural workers and develop private-public capacities. This will all be done with the objective of trying to boost new and more productive rural employment opportunities.
