Rapid impact assessment of disaster on sources of livelihood and employment opportunities: Post-typhoon Sendong conditions in Iligan City
The study seeks to identify the skills required in the changing labour market and influence, to a great extent, the design and implementation of skills training programmes and establishment of links that will serve as the needs of a strengthened workforce and the developing market.
The study was prepared to provide a clear understanding of the developing labour market demands due to the shift in investment priorities emanating from the urgent need for reconstruction and rehabilitation triggered by the calamity (Typhoon Sendong) in Iligan City.
