This paper highlights promising practices in labour inspection in the context of domestic work, considering the role of gender-responsive policies in responding to the short- and longer-term impact of the COVID-19 crisis.

Drawing from a review of existing literature and policies, as well as knowledge shared from experts in the field during an online webinar, this report identifies promising practices in labour inspection in the context of domestic work and provides recommendations for strengthening labour inspection policies and institutions, including the development of necessary legal frameworks, institutional capacity-building, and the use of innovative technologies and tools to enhance labour inspection effectiveness
