Pocket guide to reporting on disability in Indonesia

Together with AJI and ILO, Diffa plays an important role in making mainstreaming programs on the rights of people with disability to get a job. One strategy is to formulate and develop a reporting guidelines for disability issues. Generally, the media is still not proportionate and appropriate for capturing the reality of persons with disabilities.

This media guideline is expected to be a practical resource for members of the media professionals in reporting and covering about disability issues in Indonesia. Better and accurate news and coverage of persons with disabilities will help increase public awareness and respect for persons with disabilities which in turn will help support efforts towards a more inclusive society in Indonesia.
