The Philippines and the Work in Fishing Convention, 2007 (No. 188): a comparative analysis

This analysis is provided to assist the Government of the Philippines in preparing to ratify the ILO Work in Fishing Convention, 2007 (No. 188).

It is also intended to assist the ILO’s social dialogue partners, including workers and employers, to understand the current and comprehensive national legislative framework in the Philippines in respect of working and living conditions in fishing.
