Overview of occupational safety and health in Latin America and the Caribbean

Governments, employers and workers took a historic step at the International Labour Conference in June 2022 by including a safe and healthy working environment in the ILO framework on fundamental principles and rights at work. This decision was implemented by amending paragraph 2 of the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work (1998).
