Major exporters of the garment industry are based in three different continents, involving more than 25 countries and numerous regions within them. This note summarizes the minimum wages in all of them and their regions both in local currency, as well in US$ dollars in order to facilitate comparisons. The 25 economies comprise 97% of the global garment export market, while the 15 Asian ones, reach 86% as per 2012.
