This short note summarises learning generated by the Lab on the use of facilitation tactics by ILO market systems projects, examining what worked, what did not, and why. The paper explores six principles of facilitation, adapted from Engineers Without Borders, and walks you through each of them using two real-life projects to examine how they applied them.
