Key measures to facilitate integration of informal enterprises into the formal sector and promote decent work in Morocco: Study report (in French)

The Confédération Générale des Entreprises Du Maroc (CGEM) with the support of the International Labour Organisation commissioned an assessment of informality among enterprises and their workers in selected geographical areas (Rabat and Fes) and sectors (building and construction) which are characterized by a high prevalence of informality. The study also assesses key social measures to facilitate the formalization of informal enterprises in the formal economy. The study combined a methodological approach combing desk research as well as interviews with enterprises and their workers (including own account workers), key informant interviews with national stakeholders and analysis of constraints and incentives. It has been developed through a collaboration between ACTEMP and ENTERPRISES. This study is in French.
