Kasanyangan transitory site: Baseline data
Kasanyangan transitory site is one of the 11 identified transitory sites in Zamboanga City with a total number of 290 internally displaced person (IDP) families or 1,781 individuals. These families originally came from Mariki, Riohondo, Sta. Barbara, Sta. Catalina and Kasanyangan.
The Tausog dominates Kasanyangan transitory site. 82 per cent of IDP population belongs to the group of Tausog. There were 50 IDP beneficiaries for the skills training on NC-II Commercial Cooking and Carpentry. The data gathered and collected are for profiling and monitoring purposes.
