International Research Project on Job Retention and Return to Work Strategies for Disabled Workers : key issues
Describes phase one of the research project initiated by the ILO in eight countries. Covers the key issues in relation to five themes: employment and labour market policies; benefit and compensation programmes; rehabilitation and employment support services; adaptation of work and workplace; and measures developed and implemented by enterprises. Includes trends for the year 1980 to 1996 and a forecast for the year 2000 of the elderly dependency ratio.
