Infrastructure for rural productivity enhancement sector final report

The ILO has been collaborating with the Department of Agriculture-Infrastructure for Rural Productivity Enhancement Sector (DA-InfRES) Project aimed to strengthen local capacity on rural infrastructure development. InfRES with funding support from the Asian Development Bank is designed to reduce poverty by improving agricultural profitability through provision of rural infrastructures such as farm-to-market road, water supply and communal irrigation, facilities for local government units in Region 4-B.

The report provides the background, objectives and desired results of the collaboration. It also covers the accomplishments vis-a-vis the targets and presents per item discussion of work and deals with fund utilization and how this has been distributed by activity.

The report also provided the lessons learned and offers insights into the experiences and knowledge gained from the interactions and applications of the tools.
