Indonesian employment development

This book, published in conjunction with the President of Indonesia’s visit to the 100th International Labour Conference, presents the development of employment in Indonesia and the evolution of the Government’s policies concerning this sector.

The main missions of the Indonesian government, in this case the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration, in terms of labour issues, are promoting job opportunities and placement, creating harmonious, democratic, fair and dignified industrial relations, and improving the quality of management and administration, monitoring, research and development systems.
