Indigenous people's management of change: Experience of the Kankanaey community in Sagada, Mountain Province
Change is an inevitable thing in this world. And, if it is inevitable, the effort of coping with and learning to manage change is an activity that summons the highest form of attention. There are forces that may cause this change.
The Kankanaey group of people is one of the major ethno-linguistic indigenous peoples in the Cordillera Administrative Region specifically in Western Mountain Province, Benguet Province and Baguio City.
Result of the study can be used by policy makers for the ILO, National Commission for Indigenous Peoples and the legislative branch of the government in crafting significant laws and ordinances for the Kankanaey people of Sagada.
