This factsheet provides an overview of headline results from the PROSPECTS Partnership, a flagship initiative launched in 2018 and led by the Government of the Netherlands. Now in its second phase through 2027, the Partnership brings together IFC, ILO, UNHCR, UNICEF and the World Bank to shift responses to forced displacement from short-term humanitarian assistance toward longer-term, development-centred solutions.

Within the Partnership, the ILO works with governments, employers’ and workers’ organizations to promote decent work and strengthen the inclusion of forcibly displaced persons and host communities in national labour markets. Its contributions focus on skills development, social protection, local economic development, enterprise support and inclusive labour market systems.

The factsheet highlights PROSPECTS’ overall reach and results, including 250,000 individuals supported, 47 per cent of those reached being women and 53 per cent being forcibly displaced persons. It also captures key achievements from 2019 to 2025 across the four pillars: 35,000 people supported to build skills for employment, 80,000 employment and self-employment opportunities strengthened, 50,000 individuals accessing national social protection systems, 300,000 workdays created, and more than 30 policies, legislative and regulatory frameworks strengthened for inclusivity.
