Guideline on domestic apprenticeship program in Indonesia
This apprenticeship guideline refers to the technical level apprenticeship definition where apprentices are prospective workers who want to receive relevant work training, instead of school or college students who wish to receive on-the-job trainings as part of the curriculums’ requirement.
This booklet is to provide guidelines to employers on how to start and implement apprenticeship program in Indonesia based on the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration’s regulation no. 22 / 2009, particularly with regards to their rights and obligations including recruitment, training, and working conditions for the apprentices. It also serves to promote good practices in apprenticeship among employers.
