Good practices using social protection to promote a just transition in China (2): Leveraging social security to support steel industry transformation and upgrading
This brief examines social security policies and coordination mechanisms during industrial transformation and upgrading process in China’s steel sector by reviewing policy implementation outcomes and drawing lessons from China’s experience. It aims to contribute to global discussions on climate governance and just transition policy measures by offering insights from China’s integrated approach.
