Gap Analysis and Review of the Pre-Departure Orientation Programmes in Tanzania

This report reviews Tanzania’s current predeparture orientation system for migrant domestic workers and identifies gaps in its content, delivery, accessibility and oversight. It recommends a standardised national manual, longer and more practical training, accredited providers, stronger monitoring and better links with contract approval, worker registration and bilateral labour agreements to improve migrant worker preparation and protection.
