Final report on HIV and AIDS education in the world of work in Indonesia
Various programmes have been developed by the government, employers’ organizations, trade unions as well as local/ international agencies to address HIV prevention in the world of work. Those are some milestones achieved in the world of work in Indonesia. ILO has requested TNS to conduct a study to address the issue, and this document illustrates the findings of the study to identify the HIV/AIDS Education at the workplace.

The survey is specifically designed to assess the implementation of the decree of the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration 68/ 2004 on HIV/ AIDS Prevention and Control in the Workplace.
The main objectives of the survey will be to:
1. To assess the responses made by the world of work in order to fight against HIV/AIDS – outlining on actions and activities that workplaces are undertaking on the issue.
2. To explore the problems with adherence to (and with respect for) the issue of HIV/AIDS prevention in the world of work within public and private sectors; and all aspects of work (in the formal economy sector).
