The FDI – employment link in a globalizing world: The case of Argentina, Brazil and Mexico

Analyses the evolution of foreign direct investment (FDI) and the increasing role of transnational companies for the domestic economies of three Latin American countries in the period 1990-2003. Describes the impact of FDI on employment and wages of different sectors and the shift from the State as an economic player towards the private economy.
