Family strategies of modern Russian student youth : work-life conflict resolution

Presents a review of the family stragegies of the contemporary Russian youth including the gender components. Uses the results of the pilot surveys by UNDP, WHO, UNFPA, ILO and UNICEF. Determines preferences of the youth and the demographic policy of the Government. ILO Convention No. 156 and Recommendation No. 165 give a negative impact of the work-life conflict for employers, for the society and a whole and for the young people who account for a significant part of the labour force.
