Emerging risks and new patterns of prevention in a changing world of work

The booklet calls for the design and development of innovative national and regional strategies and programmes, emphasizing the roles of governments, employers’ and workers’ organizations, safety and health practitioners and other stakeholders. It also recognizes ILO’s responsibility in spreading a preventive culture, through its standards and technical know-how, looking forward to a joint effort in reducing work-related fatalities, accidents and diseases.
