Driving change: A market systems analysis of responsible business practices in Thailand’s automotive parts sector
The study was conducted to generate in depth knowledge and map the automotive sector in Thailand.
The study documented good labour practices and the contribution of multinational enterprises to the competitiveness and productivity of the auto parts sector in Thailand. It also identified decent work deficits in the industry, which currently impede its sustainable growth. The study searched for win–win outcomes that ensure shared prosperity for workers and businesses while contributing to long-term supply chain resilience.
