Decent Work Country Programme Mongolia 2023-27
The Mongolia Decent Work Country Programme (DWCP: 2023-2027) is the third DWCP in the country since 2008 and provides a framework of cooperation between the Government of Mongolia, the employers’ organizations, the workers’ organizations and the ILO to contribute to the achievement of the decent work objectives by 2027. The DWCP is an integral part of, and contributes to, the decent work goals of the UNSDCF Mongolia.
For this DWCP, the ILO and its constituents in Mongolia agreed on three country priorities as follows:
►DWCP Strategic Priority 1: Social protection system is in line with international labour standards to ensure access to all - children, youth, men, women, people with different gender identities, persons with disabilities, migrant workers and older persons
►DWCP Strategic Priority 2: Enhanced employment opportunities for all, including women, youth and the vulnerable groups, to access decent and sustainable employment in an increasingly green and formalized economy.
►DWCP Strategic Priority 3: International labour standards enforced through improved legal framework, and effective social dialogue and tripartite mechanism.
