Baseline Survey

Child labour baseline survey - conducted in Wakiso, Rakai and Mbale Districts, Uganda

The Child labour baseline survey was carried out in the three districts of Rakai, Wakiso and Mbale. This is the first stand alone study on child labour carried out in Uganda. The broad objective of the survey was to collect high quality data on children to facilitate the measurement of the levels and nature of child labour. The data collection was carried out during the months of July and August 2009.
