The short paper is about women’s dire position in the informal economy and it shows how COVID-19 has exacerbated inequalities faced by women informal workers.

It further illustrates G20’s need for action on four main areas: education, childcare, finance and assets, as well as ad-hoc support for women in the informal economy.
