Bangladesh Decent Work Country Programme review 2006-2009
The report on the review of the 2006-2009 Bangladesh DWCP includes a brief summary of the country context, progress towards each of the four outcomes, a discussion of how gender issues factored into the implementation of the DWCP, progress relative of ILO's performance criteria for DWCP evaluation, opportunities and constraints encountered, lessons learned for the DWCP as a whole and recommendations for developing the next DWCP.
The ILO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific and the ILO Country Office for Bangladesh organized a review of the Bangladesh DWCP (2006-09) to take stock of the progress achieved, the constraints encountered, lessons learned and to identify where and how improvements can be made for future programming. The extensive and participatory consultations with ILO constituents and other parners were held throughout the review process.
