All Aboard! On-Boarding Training Package for Workers in Myanmar Garment Factories is an induction tool kit for new garment industry workers. It is designed to help the Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA) and its members to set up an induction or on-boarding programme at the factory level.
On-boarding is the process of integrating new employees into an organization. It is primarily the responsibility of employers. Many companies drastically underestimate the importance of on-boarding when they hire new employees. In fact, most of the garment factories in Myanmar have no formal on-boarding programme and provide only a short orientation session to newly recruited employees.
